NA Business Services has been operating since 2001, set up by Natalie Andrews after graduating from University. Initially specialising in supporting Arts organisations, Natalie soon found there was a niche market in providing Virtual PA, Financial Management support and Event Management to small businesses and entrepreneurs in other sectors.
Building on 20 years experience and her impeccable customer service, attention to detail, and desire to help, Natalie now manages a small team providing a one-stop shop for cost-effective outsourced business support and project/event management on a truly national level.
Natalie thrives on supporting and developing the work of others but be warned, she has an infectious laugh and a wicked sense of humour!
More about the team coming soon.
Our services really do vary on the needs of the Client. Everyone’s skills, experiences and requirements are different and this is where NA Business comes in. We provide solutions to problems and arm our clients with the knowledge and tools to succeed.
You choose what you need and when you need it. Here are just a few examples:
This is the best option for those that only want ad-hoc support or dont know how much regular time is needed
By paying upfront and committing to a minimum of 10 hours per month you’ll receive a cheeky discount
Every event and project is different – lets discuss scope so we can agree a fee
A place for questions people have asked me in the past. If you think there are any missing just drop me a line, let me know what you need to know, I’ll answer you and if relevant I’ll get it added here too…
What are your office hours?
Our normal hours of work are 9am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday (excluding Bank Holidays). We can be contacted outside of these hours, but a response time may be longer than usual.
Do you charge a different rate for different services?
To keep things simple all services are performed under the one agreed rate. Some services are charged as a fixed or project fee but all will be discussed and agreed beforehand.
How do you account for time spent?
Services are calculated in minute units using hourly rates. We use time-tracking software to keep an eye on the time being spent on each of our clients.
What is a retainer? And why is it good to have one?
Many of our clients choose to benefit from a reduced rate by signing up to a ‘retainer’. This is in effect paying for our time one month in advance and thus securing our availability for that amount of time. Not only does this help with finance (for both parties) including budgeting and cashflow but it also enables expectations to be set and met and diaries to be co-ordinated to get the best out of the support services we are offering.
Can I roll over any unused time on a retainer?
Any unused retainer hours not used in one month may be carried over to the next month but must be used in that following month (and if not used will still be charged).
What are your payment terms?
All invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date for invoices related to services. Immediate payment terms are applied to invoices for relating to products and/or subscriptions.
Are you registered for Data Protection?
Yes, we are registered with the ICO our registration number is ZA325994.
Are you insured?
Yes have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurances in place underwritten my Markel. A certificate can be provided upon request.
Are you registered for AML?
I guess first off I should clarify that AML stands for Anti-Money Laundering. As part of my due diligence in providing book-keeping services I am required by law to be registered for AML. So yes, I am registered for AML and this is under the guidance of HMRC. My AML reference number is XMML00000123320.
